Print Exposed 2020
This is Gold Street Studio’s annual exhibition. Platinum palladium prints titled “Ethereal 3” and cyanotype print titled “Graffiti Fantasia 1” were selected.
As the title suggests, soft, airy and elegant feelings were expressed in 8×10 contact platinum palladium prints of Wood Cauliflower Fungus. Very subtle shifts in white were suitably captured by the wide tonal range of Platinum Palladium prints. The warmness of palladium coupled with the details recorded in 8×10 negatives add the depth and the finesse to the overall images.
Cobalt Blue of cyanotype print is perfect for expressing the imaginary world of creatures popping out of the graffiti walls on the deserted dimly lit back streets at night.

43 Large Format photographers are exhibiting in this group exhibition using various analogue printing techniques. I have 2 prints of sweet potato and a paw paw I found at an organic farmer’s market in Australia. These 8×10 negatives are printed using silver gelatine fibre paper.
